Description

Genuine Cobra Fortis Aerator Cassette / Cartridge for the 14L Petrol Cylinder Mowers.

The Aerator cassette is equipped with solid tines which slit open the ground to allow extra air, moisture and nutrients to reach the grass roots. This helps the roots to grow deeper, resulting in a healthier, thicker and more luscious lawn.

It also helps alleviate soil compaction which also helps to absorb water into the soil, allowing your lawn to flourish. It is not an aggressive aeration tool and is designed to only penetrate the surface (up to 28mm depending on height setting) and it works best on lawn surfaces which are well maintained, thatch-free and cut below 20mm.

Compatible with the Cobra Fortis 14L Petrol Cylinder Mowers, Aerating should ideally be carried out at least once a year, in late spring or autumn only, when the ground is soft enough for the blades to penetrate the soil.

Cobra Fortis Cartridge System

With 6 Additional interchangeable cartridges, the Cobra Fortis cartridge range is a versatile lawn care system for all Fortis lawnmowers.

Cartridges are interchanged with minimum effort from the standard 6-Blade Cylinder to a 10 Blade Cylinder / Scarifier / Aerator / Dethatcher / Verticutter / Lawn Brush. With Fortis you can keep your lawn looking its finest throughout the year. Whatever the garden task, the Fortis cartridge range will have a tool to complete the job.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I emailed GLC in desperation trying to locate which blade I needed for my lightweight cordless (discontinued!) Mountfield lawn mower. Trevor replied immediately, asked a few questions and was able to tell me what I needed. Although not stocked he was able to give me a price and take an order over the phone for delivery to my home. Item was received in less than a week. First class service plus knowledgeable professional advice. Highly recommended.
