The NEW Stihl HLA 140 B is a powerful cordless long-reach hedge trimmer for professional landscapers and gardeners. It’s ideal for pruning, trimming and maintenance work on hedges, shrubs, bushes. It’s lightweight, with a low noise output and low vibrations – making it ideal for long-periods of work in noise-sensitive environments.

Powered by a AP or AllPro battery, it has excellent balance for less fatigue during operation. It’s ergonomic controls provide 3 power levels from – 3,200, 3,600 and 4000 rpm.

And thanks to the EC motor, the blades are capable of rapid acceleration up to a range leading 4000 rpm to help you get the best cutting performance.

The HLA140B has a total length of 245 cm including it’s 60cm (24”) blades. You can also adjust the cutting head by up to 145°, letting you tackle all angles of hedges. Should your cutters get jammed on a thicker branch, the “anti-lock” feature reverses the blade direction when you release the trigger, helping you free the debris.

The Stihl HLA 140 is also part of Stihl’s AP System of interchangeable batteries. AP batteries fit all tools in the AP range including the grass trimmer, blower, lawn mowers and chainsaws.
