Description

The NEW Stihl HSA 150 R Cordless Hedge Trimmer is an extremely powerful professional “Single-Sided” hedge trimmer. It’s designed to take on the toughest, most demanding jobs the a professional landscaper or garden maintenance team may face.

Delivering comparable performance to the existing HS 87 Petrol Hedge Trimmer, the HSA150 is part of the AP System of battery tools and is powered by a 36 V lithium-ion AP battery, which offers long-working times, constant power, low vibrations and is extremely quiet to use too!

R – Version Blade System

R versions are designed for annual pruning and reduction work. They feature a “low speed” single-sided cutting blade with 38mm tooth spacing to efficiently cut thicker branches. The low speed action can be adjusted between 2,800, 3,000 or 3,200 rpm depending on the hedge you are working on.

The HSA 150 R also has an anti-jamming function – if the blades get stuck, simply release the trigger then pull it again and to make the blades move in the opposite direction. There’s also a new gearbox on the HSA150 R that works in harmony with it’s EC motor to deliver high cutting force + quick acceleration when required.

The R version only comes with 30″ (75cm) Single-Sided Blades that are Diamond Ground to efficiently cut through heavier branches.

Ergonomics

Stihl’s design team have optimised the HSA150R to offer the best ergonomics for the operator. When using the recommended AP 200 S battery you will have perfect balance, making long periods of usage much more comfortable. It’s IPX4 rated for water resistance, meaning it can even be used in all adverse weather conditions. Additionally, there’s a built in debris collection guard to aid in removing clippings for a perfect.

The HSA150 R is also part of Stihl’s AP System of interchangeable batteries. AP batteries fit all tools in the AP range including the grass trimmer, blower, lawn mowers and chainsaws.
