Description

The Stihl MS462 C-M Petrol Chainsaw with 18″ (45cm) Guide Bar + Chain is the lightest “high performance” saw in its class. It has a very impressive acceleration curve with an enhanced anti-vibration system for even the most demanding jobs.

It also has a low emission and economical STIHL 2-MIX engine with enhanced combustion technology.

Most importantly, the MS 462 C-M features the M-Tronic Engine Management System. This adjusts ignition timing and fuel metering to suit temperature, altitude and fuel quality. It ensures consistent engine performance and superb acceleration. Thanks to it’s electronic cold/warm start recognition, the engine starts after fewer pulls and can immediately accelerate up to speed.

In addition, the “Ematic” chain lubrication system provides maximum oiling of the chain / guide bar rails. This safeguards them against premature wear and reduces oil consumption. The Ematic system can also decrease the amount of oil consumed by the bar by up to 50%.
