The Stihl TSA 300 is a 12” (30cm) Cordless Cut Off Saw in the STIHL AP System. It’s exceptionally easy to handle thanks to its compact and well-balanced design and is designed for professionals working in construction, hardscaping and pipework – making it an ideal choice for processing materials such as bricks, paving stones, natural stone, concrete, reinforced concrete and rebar.

It comes as standard with a powerful 12” / 30cm composite resin cutting wheel which has a very good cutting performance, however it can also be fitted with the D-SB90 diamond cutting wheel for longer and more intensive jobs.

The TSA 300 provides a cutting performance that is comparable to the TS 410 petrol cut off saw because of the narrow cutting kerf. With a complete lack of engine vibrations, it increases precision when making cuts for more accurate results at all times! It even allows for a maximum cutting depth of 4.3″ (11cm).

Furthermore, with the TSA 300 being battery-powered, it has low noise emissions during cutting comparred to petrol counterparts. Most of all, it has zero emissions so it can also be used indoors! It’s fitted with a powerful EC motor which operates almost wear-free. It also ensures the saw operates at its optimum performance throughout the entire battery charge. Fitted with a STIHL magnetic filter which draws cooling air through several magnets, to protect the internal components from metal dust and particles. These magnets can be easily removed for fast cleaning, ensuring a long-service life.

Additionally, this tool is fitted with a fast-stop brake that captures energy and returns into the battery. After releasing the trigger, the cutting wheel comes to a stop in less than 4 seconds and loads that breaking energy back into the battery. Theres also has a LED display on the handle which provides you with information such as operating speed and any overheating warning.

The TSA 300 must be used with the AP 500 S battery for maximum performance. If you use an AP 200 S or AP 300 S, there will be a noticable reduction in performance. On a full charge with the AP 500 S has a working time of 20 minutes (constant load).

The Stihl TSA300 is also part of Stihl’s AP System of interchangeable batteries. AP batteries fit all tools in the AP range including the grass trimmer, blower, lawn mowers and chainsaws.
